2 Months Old!

We took Jack for his 2 month check up today and here are his stats: 11 pounds 9 ounces - 50th percentile for weight 24 inches long - 75th percentile for height head circumference - 37.47 cm. 10th percentile So basically he's right in the middle for weight, taller than most, and has a skinny little head! In other news, he is getting more and more active & responsive. He smiles a lot more now,

looks at us & focuses on us even from across the room,

& spends more and more time playing and hanging out (here he is at the end of a hard day at work with Daddy! ;o).

He's also more snuggly than ever!

I've gotten a little behind on posting since I've gone back to work, but hopefully I'll be able to add a couple more this weekend. We shall see...

Verses from Philippians

1:21: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

2:14-15: Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
3:7-8: But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.
3:12-14:Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
