17 Weeks

This week I am 17 weeks along & I was supposed to have an appointment this Wednesday, but...I got sick with a sinus infection last week, so I ended up going in early for that. It actually worked well because they went ahead & did my 17 wk checkup & blood tests, etc. and we got to schedule the sonogram for May 4th to find out if our little spud is a girl or boy! I can't wait!!

Other than that, I've been feeling the baby moving since Thursday night! It's kind of a weird sensation, but pretty cool at the same time. Also, I finally got around to getting a pic of me with the baby bump, so here ya go...

Finally, here's a pic of the new WillowTree John got me! I love it & I am so thankful for my thoughtful husband who has pretty much spoiled me rotten thoughout this pregnancy! :)

Verses from Philippians

1:21: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

3:7-8: But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.
3:12-14:Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
