Spud

So, things are changing at our house!

We are very excited to "Go Public" with our news:

That's our precious baby, ETA: September 20, 2010!

That makes me 13 and a half weeks along. Friday we went for our 2nd doctor's appointment & got to hear the heartbeat again (so cool!) & so far everything is going very smoothly. We are incredibly excited & can't wait to meet our little 'spud' (When I first saw the ultrasound I said it looked like a little potato), and we get to find out the gender in about 6 weeks - YES, we are finding out! :o)

By the way, happy birthday to my mom today! I love you, Mommy!

Verses from Philippians

1:21: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
2:1-11: If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 2:14-15: Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
3:7-8: But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.
3:12-14:Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
