A boy who knows what he wants

Jack is putting his new found communication skills to work lately.

This week we're at Olive Garden & the waiter comes to take our drink orders.
Nate: Coke
John: Dr. Pepper
Me: Coke
Waiter: and for the little guy?
Jack: (turns & looks up at waiter) Coke!

You probaby had to have been there for this to be funny, but we we're cracking up the rest of the day about it. It was something about his self-assurance & the way he turned to speak to our waiter. Ever since then when he sees a waiter he asks him for Coke.

2:14-15: Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
3:7-8: But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.
3:12-14:Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
