Just call me RBC

Today I told my kids John would be coming up next week to talk about sound with them (we are learning about energy & sound is one of the 5 forms we study). I explained that he is a musician & he knows a lot about sound, frequency, etc. etc. John & I carpooled today, so he came in after school to find me. The kids saw him & started telling Rhonda (my team mate) that he was going to come teach them about sound next week because he 'does something with music'. Rhonda said something along the lines of 'That's right, he's a drummer, and actually that's how Mr. & Mrs. M. met. They were both drummers!' Apparently, one girl was completely awed by this information, because she responded: "Whoa, Mrs. M's like A Rock Band Cinderella!" Yeah, so...I'm not sure where exactly she got that from, but yes, she is my new favorite student.

Verses from Philippians

1:21: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

3:12-14:Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
