Thanks, but no thanks!
This posting is dedicated to a special friend whose name I will not mention here (but will mention multiple times below). I started this yesterday afternoon, but didn't get around to posting it until now.
Thanks for the Rangers tickets, Jana! Monday night the whole praise team + M&L went to the the Ranger's game & had a blast. The weather was perfect, & it was really relaxing & fun. Plus the 3 girls all enjoyed eating our way through the innings, & John & I made a new little friend (the Kinder kid sitting in front of us who was determined that Blue was going to win the dot race.) Overall it was a great night!
Since the game got over so late, I stayed up way too late, so yesterday I was tired! This would be the day Jana chose to comment on the science lesson I was teaching - well kind of. We were learning about conductors & insulators, so I was carrying a jug of water down the hall. Jana decided to compliment me on the container I was carrying. Ha ha. (That was a humorless laugh.) Throughout the day I had countless inquires about my...science lesson. Very nice. At the end of our staff meeting, the secretary came up to me smiling & I just knew 1 more comment was headed my way. I quickly shielded myself with my notepad & asked the accusatory question: "What?!?!? Have you been talking to Jana?!?!?!?!" The secretary stopped, started laughing & said, "Actually I just had to tell you something about a science training." Doh!
In summary, I would like to send my special friend a big 'Thanks' for Rangers tickets, and send her a big 'No Thanks' for her 'compliment'.

Yours was the only "jug" I had seen all day, so it was the nicest one! Anything I can do to help brighten your day, I'm here for you! It is amazing how quickly word travels in an elementary school! I hope you got a couple of good laughs out of it! I really enjoyed my picture today, also!
Hee hee. I can picture the exact shade of your face as you start to blush. ;o)
